About Us:
Chepstow Racecourse is the home of the world's most celebrated, most talked about, most magical race, the Grand National. No other racecourse can compare to the sheer romance of Aintree.

 

 

Travel Details:
By Car:
The racecourse is on the A466 Chepstow to Monmouth road, not far from the Severn Bridge. From the M4, take the M48 and exit at Junction 2.

By Train:
Chepstow railway station is approximately one and a half miles from the racecourse. Direct services operate from Gloucester and Cardiff, from London via Newport, and Briston via Severn Tunnel Junction. Bristol Parkway is a 20 minute drive away.

By Bus:
A special raceday bus service runs from Chepstow railway station via the town centre to the racecourse on Saturday, evening and Bank Holiday meetings.

By Air:
Bristol airport - approximately 30 miles. Cardiff airport - approximately 45 miles. Helicopters may land at the racecourse by prior arrangement.

Tote betting and bookmakers are available in both Enclosures. There is also an on-course Tote bookmakers shop situated in the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure.

Parking
Parking is free at the course for all meetings except the Welsh Grand National.
