About Us:
Cartmel Racecourse, steeplechases is based in the south of the Lake District, within the pretty village of Cartmel. Horse racing has taken part on the famous racecourse since 1845.

Travel Details:
By Car:
Take the M6 and exit Junction 36 for the A590 towards Barrow-in-Furness and follow signs from Lindale roundabout. From the north east, take the A69.

By Train:
From London Euston to Carke in Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands.

There are Tote facilities in both areas of the course as well as bookmakers.

Parking
Parking in the Course car park is free, the Paddock car park is limited.
